Summary

Location: B73 6EB, must be willing to work between all our Birmingham leisure centres. Hours: 40 hours per week between Monday to Friday + Call outs in evening / weekends when required. - and right now we have a rare opportunity for you to join our technical team. The post holder will be required to consistently provide on a pre-planned, ad-hoc, breakdown and reactive basis, a professional and effective maintenance, service and repair function to the following system types as determined by the contract’s Contract Manager, Deputy Contract Manager, Senior Technical Manager and/or Head of Technical (for example, not exhaustive): The Post Holder must agree to being on a on call on a weekend rota basis and paid in lieu on plain time if required to respond.
Building Service Systems & Associated Ancillary Plant

- Cooling systems.
- Domestic cold-water systems.
- Domestic hot water systems.
- Electrical systems.
- Heating systems.
- Mains cold water systems.
- Sanitary systems.
- Ventilation systems.
- Water movement systems.

The post holder will be required to provide the maintenance, service and repair function on both a hands-on and appointment & supervision of external sub-contractor’s basis. This is a multi-site role, post holder must hold a clean and in date driving licence. A works van will be provided along with fuel card.
The sites are leisure centres across the Birmingham area.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working in a similar role (Ideally including Pool Plant)
- Experience of reactive works to Pool Plant, HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical systems
- Multi-skilled with basic Plumbing, Carpentry & Electrics
- Ability to maintain accurate records (Both Written & Electronic)
- Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- You may be required to work outside of normal working hours and respond to out of hour’s emergencies, covering 5 days out of 7.
