Summary
Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a well-known Fabrication & Welding company, in their search for a Plater/Welder to work in their workshop based in Wem.
For the successful Plater/Welder, our client is offering
• £14.44 Per Hour - Reviewed after 3 months
• Opportunity for overtime
• The basic factory opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30-4:30, with a 12:30 finish on Fridays.
• 29 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Company pension
• Free Parking
The Role - Plater/Welder:
• Be able to read, interpret and work with engineering drawings with minimal supervision
• Be comfortable working on one-off pieces and other small batch work
• Be able to use measuring equipment
• Perform work in accordance with the company’s health and safety procedures
• Be highly motivated
• Work effectively, ensuring the workplace is kept in a clean and orderly manner
What our client is looking for in a Plater/Welder:
• Experience in Welding and fabrication – Essential
• Experience of working from engineering drawings – Essential
Key Skills or Similar Job Titles as the Plater/Welder:
Welder, Fabricator, Plater, MIG, Stick
