We have exciting opportunities available for an enthusiastic and agile individual, looking to work within a fast-paced dynamic HR environment.

The roles are based within The Employee Service Centre and in particular the HR Compliance & Audit team, which is under the umbrella of HR Transformation & Engagement.

As an Advisor in the HR Compliance & Audit team, you will be a part of a team who provide first point of contact support on a wide range of HR related queries to a variety of customers. You will also provide

managers and employees with guidance and training, including those relating to employee payments. You will support the administration of the Cycle to Work, Buy and Bank Leave and Green Car Schemes. By assisting the senior advisor in the processing of applications for these schemes, you will ensure accurate data and records are maintained. Therefore, customer service is paramount to this role.

You will assist the senior advisor on HR Compliance and Audit initiatives and in the development of controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations. You will also support the senior advisor in the collation and information gathering for various audits and specific information requests. You will have the opportunity to communicate with various stakeholders on a variety of topics including those relating to employee payment reports and audits, ensuring that quality standards are maintained.

In short you will be part of an agile team that seek to continually improve processes and quality standards to provide positive outcomes to meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing first point of contact support to customers in relation to a wide range of HR related queries across different communication platforms.
  • Supporting the Senior Advisor on HR Compliance and Audit initiatives and develop systems of control to ensure compliance with financial regulations .
  • Supporting the Senior Advisor by collating appropriate evidence for audits including requests from external agencies in line with relevant governance to support the due diligence of HR and payroll processes.
  • Supporting the Senior Advisor in monitoring and liaising with managers regarding Occupancy End Reports and various Employee Payments reports.
  • Assist the Senior Advisor in the coordination and deliver on the administration of the cycle to work, green car and annual buy and bank leave schemes.

The Individual

It is essential that you are an excellent communicator with good verbal and written skills, as well as strong IT skills with experience in using MS Office. Knowledge of iTrent would be advantageous.

You will be a self-motivated customer focused individual with excellent time management skills, able to plan and prioritise your own workload. You will be able to show initiative and while working with colleagues and comfortable challenging current practices.

You must be educated to National 5 level, experience within in a HR or Customer Focused Environment would be desirable.

Working Pattern - 17.5 hours:

Week 1: Monday & Tuesday 8.45 am - 4.45pm

(1hr lunch)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8.45am -

4.45pm (1 hr lunch)
