Summary

We are looking for calm, resourceful, waking night support worker to join our friendly team in Tonbridge, supporting one adult to live his life the way he chooses.

He’s a vibrant individual love for Shrek, music, dancing, and being tickled. You’ll be part of a well established team working alongside his family and professionals to help him stay happy, healthy, and empowered to achieve his aspirations.

About the role:

This role is essential in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the person we support throughout the night. You will be responsible for monitoring their needs, offering reassurance, and providing care and support as required. Maintaining a calm and supportive presence, you will help create a peaceful environment where individuals feel secure and respected.

We will train you to provide personalised support and follow individual support plans to meet the needs and aspirations of the person you are supporting. You will be promoting independence and allowing the person to exert choice and control over the way their support is delivered.

36 hours per week

About you:

The ideal candidate will be caring, attentive, and able to stay alert and responsive throughout the shift. While previous experience in a care or support role is an advantage, it is not essential as full training will be provided. More important is a genuine passion for supporting others, good communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
