About Mora Next Ltd
Mora Next Ltd is a diversified UK enterprise operating across IT, Retail, and Hospitality sectors.
Our operations include technology infrastructure management, restaurant services, and off-license retail operations, all managed under one strategic framework.
We are building an efficient, compliant, and data-driven procurement system that supports all internal divisions through smart sourcing, supplier relationships, and cost optimization.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Procurement & Purchasing Manager to lead all internal purchasing and supplier management activities across Mora Next Ltd’s divisions — including IT infrastructure, restaurant operations, and retail/off-license outlets.
This is a critical internal role focused on ensuring that all materials, consumables, and equipment are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in full compliance with business requirements.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, commercially aware, and confident managing multiple supplier relationships in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end purchasing operations for IT systems, restaurant materials, and off-license products.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for food, beverages, packaging, and equipment.
Establish and monitor Supplier KPIs and SLAs, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
Conduct cost analysis, profit margin calculations, and procurement reviews to improve efficiency.
Prepare and manage procurement budgets, purchase forecasts, and inventory control plans.
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions with vendors.
Ensure compliance with UK procurement regulations, food safety standards, and internal company policies.
Collaborate with restaurant and retail managers to plan and schedule stock replenishment.
Coordinate with the finance department for invoice verification and supplier payments.
Maintain procurement reports and cost-saving dashboards using tools like Excel or Power BI.
Recommend process improvements and support the implementation of digital procurement systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Strong knowledge of purchasing, cost management, and supplier coordination.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multi-category procurement (IT, restaurant, and retail).
Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, or equivalent procurement software.
Good understanding of inventory planning, quality control, and compliance standards.
Prior experience in restaurant or off-license procurement is an advantage but not mandatory.
CIPS qualification or equivalent certification preferred.
Why Join Mora Next Ltd
This role gives you the opportunity to shape Mora Next’s internal procurement ecosystem across multiple business areas.
We offer:
A permanent, on-site role in Wem with leadership visibility.
Hands-on experience in IT, restaurant, and retail procurement.
Opportunity to grow into a senior operations or supply chain leadership role.
Professional development and ongoing learning support.
