This role isn't just about ticking boxes; it's about raising the bar.

You will:

  • Implement our BCG Quality Handbook & Cycle through effective matrix management
  • Manage the Quality Review, Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plan processes
  • Collaborate with curriculum directors and managers, and external partners to ensure every learner gets a high-quality experience
  • Support inspections, foster strong relationships with awarding organisations, and maintain oversight of external quality assurance visits
  • Lead a team of Progress Coaches to support the attendance, progress and achievement of Study Programme students through high-quality pastoral support

To apply you need:

  • Proven experience working in quality assurance and quality improvement
  • Successful experience in delivery of vocational, technical, and applied qualifications across a range of awarding organisations
  • A Level 5 teaching qualification and a head for data, detail and deadlines
  • A calm, clear communicator who can build strong relationships across teams and with external stakeholders
  • Creative thinking skills, seeing quality not as a checklist, but as a culture
  • Have a commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and continuous improvement
  • To commit to the role for 10 months.

The successful candidate will be a member of the College Leadership Team, report directly to the Vice Principal Curriculum and Quality and will work collaboratively cross-college with a diverse and dedicated team so that our students go 'beyond ambition.'
