Our Deputy Headteacher will:

Have proven leadership and management experience in a school environment.
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who is able to inspire others.
Be committed to the principles of inclusion, equality, and high achievement for all.
Be knowledgeable and experienced in leading the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Lead the school in continuous improvement and staff development, seeking strategies to enhance standards.
Be dynamic and forward-thinking, able to coordinate and lead curriculum change and implementation.
Be a confident communicator who leads and motivates colleagues with honesty, care, and compassion.
Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the whole school community.
Share and promote the school’s vision for providing meaningful opportunities for all children’s personal development.

About Our School

Parklands Nursery School is a maintained school that has been part of the community for over 50 years. We are open from 8.30am to 3.30pm during term time, providing a range of educational and care places for children aged two to five.

We have a dedicated team of nursery practitioners, teachers, and leaders who are passionate about providing the highest quality care and education for all children. We work in partnership with parents from the very start through home visits and play sessions before children begin attending, ensuring every child feels secure and thrives.

Children and families are treated as individuals, and we strive to meet each child’s unique needs. We are committed to working with parents and other agencies to give every child the best possible start in life.
