Summary
South East Essex Academy Trust (SEEAT) is a growing family of nine schools with one clear goal - to provide every child with exceptional learning opportunities. Our success so far is just the beginning; we're determined to do even more to close gaps and raise outcomes.
We're seeking a Trust-wide SENCO to lead SEND and inclusion across all schools. You'll work collaboratively with school-based SENCOs, develop best practice, and ensure our most vulnerable pupils receive outstanding support.
This 0.4 FTE role can be structured over 2 or 3 days per week, giving you the flexibility to fit your professional and personal life. It's ideal for a strong school-based SENCO ready to progress into a Trust-wide leadership role, but we ask that you have a demonstrable track record of imporvement and impact in terms of inclusion, ideally across more than one school.
It's essential you hold QTS and the appropriate SEND Leadership qualification (or equivalent) and have proven experience in improving outcomes for children with SEND. You'll also benefit from significant scope for career development, including opportunities to mentor others and shape Trust-wide policy.
Travel across our nine schools is required, with The Deanes serving as the central base.
Please apply now to be considered for this role, or to find out more.
Safeguarding:
South East Essex Academy Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This role involves Regulated Activity and requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure.
