The Opportunity:

We are seeking a practical and enthusiastic Teaching Instructor to support the delivery of NC, HNC, and HND Agriculture courses. Based near Aberdeen at the Ferguson Building and the local college farm, this role plays a key part in developing students’ hands-on agricultural skills through both classroom instruction and practical teaching.

The successful candidate will deliver NC & HNC practical classes, covering areas such as machinery operation, farm maintenance, and workshop skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have relevant vocational qualifications at HND level (SCQF level 8) in a relevant subject, such as agriculture or animal science, and/or have strong practical agricultural experience. Good people skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are also required. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently, and with other team members, to ensure that accurate results are delivered to agreed deadlines.
