Summary
The busy Garden Café at Glendoick Garden Centre is looking to recruit several enthusiastic part time members of staff to join its front of house team. Ideally you should have some hospitality experience although full training will be given. You should be of a cheerful nature, enjoy interacting with customers and be committed to providing excellent customer service. Reliable attendance and punctuality are important to us.
Main Responsibilities
Greeting customers and seating them at their table
Taking customer orders and receiving payment
Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
Clearing tables and ensuring cleanliness standards are maintained
Following health and safety guidelines
Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
Contributing to a positive work environment
The roles are 15 hours a week over 2 or 3 days, but start/finish times and working days can be flexible hours to suit students/parental responsibilities, although weekend working on a rota basis will be required.
Pay rates are in accordance with national living wage for under 21s and £12.25 per hour for those aged 21 and over.
Due to our location and limited public transport, applicants must have a drivers licence and have access to their own vehicle.
