Summary
Looking for early starts as an experienced Care Assistant in the Codnor area?
You will be working alongside a friendly team within a beautiful care home. With up to 40 residents dealing with age-related illnesses such as Dementia, your role will have an insightful impact to vulnerable lives.
As part of your day to day role you will be:
- Following personalised care plans
- Recording any relevant condition updates
- Recording fluid intakes
- Conducting required personal care
- Supporting the service users through effective use of moving and handling
- Maintaining the health and safety of the service users at all times
- Taking part in activities to keep the service users engaged throughout the day
- Completing housekeeping tasks as required

We would love to hear from you, if you have the following:
- Referenceable work history
- In-date mandatory training certificates (inc. moving and handling, safeguarding vulnerable adults and infection control)
-An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the past 12 months or registered on the update service.
- A minimum of 3 months paid UK work experience working within a care home
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
This role offers immediate starts with hours that suit your schedule.
You will be working either 06:45 to 14:30 on days between Monday and Sunday
The rate of pay for this role is £12.35 per hour (plus up to 28 days accrued holiday)
