You will be confident in supporting and maintaining clinical systems such as Electronic Patient Records (EPR), Patient Administration Systems (PAS), diagnostic reporting systems, and other NHS digital applications. A solid understanding of operating systems, networking principles, and information governance requirements in a healthcare context is essential. Experience of using a service desk system to log, track, and resolve incidents is required, along with the ability to work to ITIL based processes. Knowledge of NHS data standards, clinical workflows, and the integration of systems across different care settings would be an advantage though full training on local systems will be provided.
