A welcoming and supportive primary school in Kingstanding is looking to appoint a dedicated Year 1 Teacher from January 2026 to cover a long-term absence. The school values creativity, resilience, and teamwork, and has strong leadership that ensures a supportive working environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Support early literacy and numeracy progress
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teaching assistants and parents to support pupil development
Requirements:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience in KS1 desirable
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to inclusive teaching practices
