Summary
What you’ll be doing:
Creating, preparing and presenting a variety of Curry ,Tandoor dishes, Indo Chinese and Biryanis according to standard recipes that meet the highest standards.
Following the HACCP system and managing the day-to-day food safety.
Ensuring compliance with all food safety and health and safety regulations at all times.
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen and ensuring sanitation practices in the kitchen.
Developing innovative new recipes while adhering to traditional cooking methods and flavours in collaboration with the culinary team.
Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and tracking food costs to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and profitably.
What you’ll need:
At least 5 years previous experience as a Curry or Tandoor chef , Indo Chinese in reputable restaurants.
Currently living in the UK
A passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes to customers every time as well as in-depth knowledge of Indian regional cuisine.
Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during busy meal times.
Flexibility to work across different shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Good communication skills to work effectively with other kitchen staff and follow instructions effectively from the senior management team.
