Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Relief Cleaner to join our team, providing cleaning cover primarily at London Fire Bridge Headquarters with occasional travel required to other London Fire Brigade stations across London. The successful candidate will ensure that all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
-Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
-Clean and sanitise toilets, kitchens, and communal areas.
-Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
-Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are used safely and effectively.
-Follow all health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
-Provide relief cover at various sites as required, sometimes at short notice.
Essential Requirements
-Previous professional cleaning experience.
-Ability to communicate and read basic English.
-Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
-Flexible and willing to travel to different locations within London when needed.
