Carry out water temperature checks and assist with Legionella prevention routines
Undertake regular H&S inspections of equipment, plant rooms, and public areas
Ensure contractors and suppliers follow site safety requirements
Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues or guest requests
Keep maintenance records, schedules, and inspection logs up to date

Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Building Maintenance (Multi-trade Repair & Refurbishment Operations) or equivalent – desirable
Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate – desirable for ensuring compliance and managing safety procedures
Understanding of fire safety systems and legal obligations (Fire Safety Order 2005)
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative
