Summary
We are seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary school in Stratford Upon Avon.
Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Year 2 – PDA & Attachment Needs)
School: Primary School - Stratford Upon Avon
Start Date: Immediate
⏰ Hours: 8:15am – end of school day
Contract: Long-term
About the Role
You will be supporting a Year 2 pupil who has recently received an EHCP. The child presents with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and some attachment/detachment needs, so we’re looking for a nurturing, patient, and experienced TA who can build trust and work in a therapeutic, child-centred way.
Ideal Candidate
Experienced in working with children with PDA and attachment needs
Calm, flexible, and relationship-focused
Able to use low-demand and supportive strategies
Committed to a long-term role and the child’s ongoing development
