We are looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to join our busy team within our offices in Wigan for Part Time Maternity Cover 12 Month Temporary Contract
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of all admin functions within the team in a confidential and sensitive manner ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency are maintained with organisational procedures.
You will be part of an experienced team and help support the day to day administration of Case Managers, Management and business objectives.
What you'll be working:
- 18hrs per week - Salary: £12,477 per annum (To be discussed at interview)
- Part Time Maternity Cover 12 Month Temporary Contract

What you'll be doing:
Responsibilities and Duties
- To provide an efficient and accurate typing service, to include typing of client records, letters, reports and other correspondence.
- Opening and logging of mail/incoming/outgoing.
- Maintenance of diary systems including organising appointments for staff members.
- Filing/maintenance of client records.
- To answer and deal with telephone calls/queries.
- To assist with the creation of databases and spreadsheets as required.
- Responsible for maintaining a stock control and ordering of all stationery supplies.
- Responsible for preparing/maintaining staff rota's.
- Any other duties commensurate to the post.
- Responsible for the processing of sensitive and confidential information.
- To type and format reports and correspondence as required.
- To establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and all levels of management.
- To analyse problems and situations quickly and effectively taking appropriate action.
- To undertake staff training.
- To cover ad hoc tasks and projects as instructed by senior management.
- To review all procedures to implement improvement to ensure they contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
- To undertake any other duties as required; to accommodate the changing needs of the business.
- To ensure all TBL paperwork is completed for clients in a timely manner and sent to the appropriate recipient.
What you'll have:
Qualifications and Skills
- We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years administration experience working within a busy office environment.
- We would also like someone who is:
- Effective and clear communicator
- Excellent Typing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Good knowledge and use of IT - Word Processing, Excel, Databases
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to set own priorities, targets and achieve goals
