Our client, a reputable and values-driven automotive collision repair centre based in Southampton, is seeking a skilled VDA / Estimator to join their busy team. As a key member of their service delivery, the VDA / Estimator will play a crucial role in providing accurate damage assessments and repair estimates, ensuring high-quality service for customers.

Duties:
- Conduct thorough physical and desktop inspections of damaged vehicles
- Produce accurate repair estimates using Audatex or similar software
- Liaise effectively with insurance companies, engineers, and policyholders
- Prepare job cards for workshop staff and support the estimating process
- Ensure all repair work is carried out safely and in accordance with company standards
- Handle customer inquiries and manage complaints professionally
- Carry out audits to uphold repair quality and compliance
Specification for the role:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator in a collision repair environment
- Strong knowledge of accident damage assessment and repair estimating processes
- Proficiency with Audatex or similar estimating software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential)
- Positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work full-time, Monday to Friday
