Summary

Class 1 Shunter - Peterborough | Monday to Saturday | Long-term work

We're currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to work for a busy transport operation in Peterborough. This is a regular, long-term position offering excellent rates of pay and consistent night shifts.

The Role:

Shunting trailers safely and efficiently around the yard
Working as part of a busy night operation
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring trailers are positioned correctly
Communicating with the transport team to maintain a smooth flow of work

Shift Details:

Start: 22:00pm
Finish: 06:45am
Days: Monday to Saturday

Pay Rates:

£15.28 per hour for the first 12 weeks
£19.08 per hour after 12 weeks

Requirements:

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
CPC and Digi Tacho Card
Previous shunting experience is highly desirable
Good communication and safety awareness
