37 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 0815 to 1700

£28,864 - £29,173 / £14.96 - £15.12 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)

Are you looking to take your first step into a caring role or perhaps looking to return to Care work? Are you looking to work Monday to Friday? Can you create and maintain positive relationships with people with an underlying caring nature? If yes this is a great role for you.

You will become part of an established and very supportive team that provides person centred, quality services to Adults with Learning Disabilities.

You will work alongside and support individuals safely on transport and with a wide range of different activities within the service and in the community as required to meet their individual person centred needs and achieve their goals.

A good general standard of education is required including, literacy and numeracy. Prior direct experience of caring is not essential. On the job guidance, mentorship, supervision and training will be given.

The successful individual must adhere to the SSSC codes of practice for Social Service Workers and the Health and Social Care Standards.

The post is subject to a Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with protected adults.
