Summary
Manufacturing Technician
Location: Loughborough
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour
We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Loughborough. You'll help assemble, inspect, and package laboratory consumables to high quality standards. This role supports important work in research, diagnostics, and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate packaging and labelling machines.
- Print and apply labels using approved software.
- Complete all required production paperwork (batch records, change notices, deviations).
- Follow material and process flows for raw materials, in-process work, and finished goods.
- Carry out quality checks during and after production.
- Support other departments and help train colleagues when needed.
- Perform basic maintenance and calibration on labelling equipment.
- Enter production and downtime data accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
- Follow all site safety and quality procedures.
What You'll Need
- High School Diploma, Secondary Education, or equivalent.
- At least 1 year in manufacturing, production, lab, or similar setting (required).
- Experience in a cGMP environment (preferred).
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Confident using Microsoft Office.
- Able to follow instructions and work accurately.
- Strong organisation and multitasking skills.
