Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Ad-hoc Recycling Operatives to join a recycling team in Launceston. This is a hands-on outdoor role involving sorting materials and maintaining a tidy working environment.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is seeking reliable Recycling Operatives to work on an ad-hoc basis in Launceston. The role involves outdoor work in all weather conditions, sorting recyclable materials, and assisting with general site duties.

Key Duties:
  • Correctly sorting different recyclable materials.

  • Keeping domestic and commercial collection points clean and tidy.

  • Assisting in maintaining a tidy local depot at all times.

  • Directing customers to the correct recycling points within the depot.

Requirements:
  • Experience as a recycling operative or in a similar manual role.

  • Experience of working outdoors.

  • Physically capable of heavy lifting up to 25kg.

  • Reliable and able to work flexibly as required.
