Summary
The Stadium Steward is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of spectators at events. Duties include welcoming attendees, checking tickets, directing visitors to seats and facilities, and providing clear information. Stewards help manage crowd movement, monitor behaviour, and respond calmly to incidents or emergencies, following procedures at all times. They support safeguarding, enforce venue policies, and assist with evacuations when required. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Stewards must remain vigilant, approachable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Evening, weekend, and event-day availability is required. Training provided.
