Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Radiology Clinical Education Facilitator. Interventional Radiology experience and competencies essential
• Participateintheeducationanddevelopmentofthenursingteam,including appraisals. Providing direct supervision and assessment of students, and preceptorship of newly qualified nurses.
• Demonstrate competencies and skills in conscious sedation, scrub nursing, recovery, ward assessment, pre assessment, edischarge, and nurse leddischarge
• Assist in the delivery of training and development programmes and study days for staff and learners in practice.

• Qualified to ILS level, with demonstration and utilization of these skills.
• Effective communication and appropriate escalation during an unexpected event, as well as situations involving conflict.
• Demonstration and education of IPC protocol, and promotion of a clean safe working environment. Management of risks as per trust policy.
• Demonstration of UHCWi methodology including waste management, improving patient experience, and standard work.
• Responsible for direct promotion of professionalism in the clinical areas, and escalation of concerns to appropriate management team.
• Assist in the delivery of training and development programmes and study days for staff and learners in practice.
• Act as a role model for excellence, empowering others through education and support.
• Work collaboratively with other professional groups to maximise development opportunities and inter-professional learning opportunities.
