Responsibilities
- Perform demolition and site clearance tasks in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently as per CCDO guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within set deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CCDO card (essential).
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Previous experience in demolition or construction is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices in a construction environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor tasks.
Day-to-Day
- Arrive on-site punctually and prepared for the day's tasks.
- Conduct pre-task safety checks and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Execute demolition activities as directed by the site supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project progression.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in the removal and disposal of debris and materials from the site.
