Summary
We are looking to recruit a Design & Technology Teacher, to join our School in Bridgwater, Somerset. This will be for January 2026 start. We are looking for someone with experience in teaching students with complex needs.
Title: Design & Technology Teacher
Location: Bridgwater, Somerset
Salary: £30-43K DOE and Qualifications
The teacher will have the knowledge and skills to deliver lessons in Design & Technology.
• To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students with support from teaching staff.
• To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
• To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
• Promote pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, cultural, physical and mental development alongside British values in the teaching of the subject.
• Consult pupils, parents and staff about the subject and its effectiveness, and assess the feedback against the school’s values, visions and aims
• Qualified Teacher Status.
• Degree in relevant subject area.
• To aspire to be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
