The Role
We’re looking for a Machine Operative to join our Production team. We are looking for people who can or have the aptitude to learn how to operate production machinery and associated production equipment so as to maximize output and quality throughout a production shift.
This will involve carrying out pre-start up checks on the production line at the beginning of each shift, monitor the line throughout the shift as well as making on-going and routine adjustments to the machines as well as being involved in product change-over’s and overall machine performance.
You will need to have had previous experience of machine operation within manufacturing, particularly in a production environment where output, quality, cost and volume targets are used.
You will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to rotational shift working and a successful track record of working under pressure within a manufacturing environment; you will also be looking for an opportunity to further develop your talents and career by moving into this challenging role.
