Summary
As part of the ongoing development and growth of our Motor Vehicle provision at our Holme Lacy Campus, we are seeking to appoint to the following post:
Workshop Technician – Motor Vehicle
Fixed term post until 26th June 2026, Mon-Fri, term-time only
Salary: up to £24,260 pro-rata, depending on qualifications and experience
To support and maintain the running of the Motor Vehicle workshop on our Holme Lacy campus, and to provide technical support to Motor Vehicle staff and students when requested. To support and participate fully in the ongoing Faculty and College activities to achieve the College’s key mission and objectives.
The key responsibilities of the post include workshop and equipment maintenance, supporting staff and students in the practical delivery of the curriculum, and managing consumable stocks and the preparation of lesson materials.
We are looking for an individual who has a real commitment to comprehensive post 16 education and training, ideally with relevant workshop maintenance / management experience, preferably within an educational / vocational training context.
Then post will be based at our Holme Lacy Campus and whoever we appoint will need to be able to work well with young people as well as being able to oversee the logistics of workshop management and development.
