Summary
What you'll be working: This role is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fixed term for 12 months. What you'll be doing: Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights Support the Practitioner Psychologists within the service on a day to day basis Provide a high standard of quality care under the supervision of a Practitioner Psychologist Assist in the formulation of routine care plans involving the psychological treatment or management of the patients' condition Attend and contribute to MDT meetings Support the delivery of teaching and training to other members of the team Work within the professional practice and organisation guidelines Assist with audit and research as required What you'll have: A BPS recognised Psychology undergraduate degree of 2:1 or above Previous healthcare experience is desirable High level communication skills (written and verbal) An understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with neurological problems or other disabilities would be an advantage Ability to apply existing psychological knowledge to a neurological context The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
