The Debt and Homelessness Prevention Team Leader will lead a team of advice caseworkers, volunteers and support staff to deliver high-quality debt and homelessness prevention advice services which empower clients, tackles financial hardship and promotes equity with the aim of preventing homelessness and improving life outcomes.

They will manage their own complex caseload while ensuring the team meets contractual targets and contributes to the charity’s wider mission — including partnership work, research, campaigns and systems change. 

The postholder will provide leadership, quality assurance, and performance oversight, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and values-driven culture.  Providing feedback into the team’s line managers appraisals and people management.  

This is the perfect role for an experienced debt or housing advisor/caseworker gain greater specialism or as a step into a management role.
