Summary

Neway International are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join the Care & Wellbeing Hub (Adults) team based with Lincolnshire County Council.

Start Date: 17 November 2025, initially for a 3 month contract that is likely to be extended.

Hours per Week: 37

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 8:00pm (flexibility required)


Job Description
The Customer Service Centre is the first point of contact for many of Lincolnshire County Council’s services, including Adult Care, Children’s Services, Highways, Registration & Celebratory Services, and Library Services. These services play a vital role in residents’ lives—from social care assessments to safeguarding referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle telephone and email enquiries from the public and professionals

Provide information, advice, and triage for Adult Care, Carer Services, and the Wellbeing Service

Use a strength-based approach to assess needs and determine appropriate outcomes

Manage complex, sensitive, and emotive calls with professionalism and empathy

Accurately record information while engaging with customers

About You:

Experience in a busy customer service or contact centre environment

Social care experience is desirable but not essential (full training provided)

Strong IT and typing skills—ability to type and talk simultaneously

Excellent communication, call control, and problem-solving skills

Passionate about delivering high-quality customer care
