We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our compassionate team. This role is rooted in the belief that behaviour is a form of communication, and we are committed to building supportive relationships with children based on empathy, playfulness, acceptance, and curiosity.

The Role: Key Responsibilities & Details
Working Hours:This is a term-time role, with working hours of 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Core Duties:
Working under the direction of Senior Staff and the Class Teacher, your duties will include:

1:1 and small group support for students in accessing learning activities across the curriculum.

Consistently applying effective classroom management and behaviour strategies.

Supporting students when needed and modelling expected behaviour.

Assisting with the development and implementation of student support plans.

Promoting independence and rewarding student self-reliance.

Preparing and maintaining curriculum resources, and providing minor clerical/administrative support.

Assisting with student supervision during off-site activities and school trips.

Liaising with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals.

Providing personal care and administering medicines to identified individuals (within safeguarding procedures).
What You Need to Be Successful (Essential)

Minimum GCSE grades A - C in Maths and English, or equivalent.

Relevant experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting.

A strong commitment to Child Protection, Health & Safety, and Confidentiality.
The Ideal Candidate (Desirable)

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
