Summary

Purpose of the job

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Melton Borough Council as a Planned and Major Works Surveyor.

This role will be working with our colleagues in planned maintenance and as part of our wider Housing Asset Team.

About You

The successful candidate will want to be driven and motivated with an eye for detail. You will be a team player but confident to work independently and have a flexible attitude to working under pressure. We are looking for an individual with a positive outlook and a desire to deliver a quality service to the community we serve.

A thorough working knowledge of social housing is key. You will have extensive experience of working alongside contractors, managing large scales projects and delivering specifications. You will be a proficient communicator and happy to work alongside colleagues from all areas of the department.
