Summary
We’re looking for a driven and people-focused Restart Employment Advisor to join our team in Margate. In this rewarding, office-based role, you’ll support learners, job seekers and clients to prepare for the world of work, helping them build confidence, develop employability skills, and achieve lasting success.
What you’ll do:
Build strong, professional relationships across teams and with participants
Identify individual needs, goals and barriers to employment
Deliver high-quality, end-to-end information, advice and guidance (aligned to Matrix and Gatsby Standards)
Coach individuals and groups to boost confidence, emotional intelligence and job-readiness
Help create professional CVs, cover letters and job applications
Prepare learners for interviews and match them to suitable job or apprenticeship opportunities
Manage and motivate a caseload, ensuring each participant achieves sustainable employment
Maintain accurate digital records, action plans and performance reports
Support employability events, workshops and job fairs
Work to clear KPIs and performance targets
What we’re looking for:
Strong administration and organisational skills, be able to manage a busy caseload efficiently
Background in recruitment, sales, or other target-driven environments
Excellent communication and coaching skills with a passion for helping others succeed
Confident IT user with solid attention to detail
Professional, proactive and resilient under pressure
