Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive business growth, identify new revenue opportunities, and strengthen our brand presence within the local market. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our operations, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting the franchise’s expansion.


Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business and revenue opportunities within the local and regional market.

Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to inform business strategy.

Develop and implement local marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand visibility and sales.

Build partnerships with local businesses, suppliers, and community organisations to enhance brand presence.

Support the launch and development of new Subway locations or service offerings.

Work closely with the franchise owner to ensure consistent brand standards, customer experience, and operational performance.

Monitor and evaluate business performance metrics and prepare progress reports for management.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a similar role within the food service, hospitality, or retail sector.

Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Proven ability to plan and implement marketing strategies and drive sales growth.

Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques is highly desirable.

Experience working within a franchise environment will be an advantage.

• Type: Full-Time
• Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
• Salary: £52000– £57000 per annum

Hours

Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with occasional evenings/weekends for weddings, festivals, or events).
