Our values—Honesty, Equality, Accountability, Respect, and Trust—form the HEART of our school community.The Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Educator with a Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Development to work as a 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND needs. This role is vital in providing personalised care and support to enable the pupil to access learning and participate fully in school life.Key Responsibilities:Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with SEND during learning activities and social times.Assist with lunchtime supervision and support the pupil during this period.Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEND specialists to support the pupil’s development and well-being.Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment in line with school policies and safeguarding standards.Hours:Tuesdays and Thursdays, 14 hours per week with the possibility of moving to full time in September 2026Working hours include the lunchtime period with a break taken afterwards.Requirements:Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Development.Experience working with children with SEND is desirable.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Commitment to the values and inclusive ethos of Chiseldon Primary & Nursery School.We Offer:A supportive and welcoming school community.Opportunities for professional development.A role that makes a meaningful difference to a child’s educational journey.
