Are you passionate about cooking and ready to bring your skills to a friendly, supportive team? We’re looking for a dedicated chef to join us in Scunthorpe, working Mondayto Friday. In this role, you’ll help prepare delicious meals, maintain highstandards of food safety and hygiene, and contribute to creating a positivedining experience for everyone. Whether you’re experienced or looking todevelop your career in a busy kitchen environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the preparation and production of food to ensure consistently high-quality meals.
  • Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards across all kitchen areas.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including opening and closing procedures and budget controls.
  • Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and professional standards are met, supporting and guiding the team.
  • Be confident in menu knowledge, cooking methods, and service delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred, ideally within a commercial or corporate setting.
  • Possession of a recognised Food Hygiene Qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable.
  • Ability to manage your workload effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to support team members as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Awareness of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety practices, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
