Summary
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity and performance
• Welcome visitors and the local community to the centre and provide information on current displays and local history
• Effectively promote the centre and the local area
• Undertake reception duties including telephone enquiries, cash handling and banking of income
• Monitor the building and internal displays and report any defects as appropriate
• Assist in the provision of displays and activities within the centre an surrounding area
• Distribute publicity and tourist materials and restock as appropriate.
• Maintain and report an accurate record of visitor numbers
• Assist in the provision of catering facilities as required
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely
• Undertake cleaning duties as required to ensure a high standard of cleanliness within the centre
• Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and High Life Highland as a whole
• Attend and undertake any training online or in person
• Aim to reduce wastage and uphold our environmental values of being as sustainable as possible in all tasks
• Assist and support other areas of High Life Highland with particular projects, training or in the event of holidays or sickness working cross-functionally across the team
