Summary

Production Operative

Barnstaple | £12.21 per hour | Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 3:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 1pm

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative based in Barnstaple. This role involves assembling a range of products across multiple areas to maximise output while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Duties:
  • Assemble products following established procedures and standard work instructions, meeting productivity and quality standards.

  • Set and operate machinery in accordance with established procedures.

  • Continually review products to ensure they meet quality standards.

  • Read and follow drawings, routings, and ISO procedures to meet time and quality requirements.

  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to the company's 5S standard, minimising hazards and protecting tooling and gauges.

  • Utilise all personal protective equipment and safety devices to maintain personal and team safety.

  • Train other operators as experience increases.

  • Undertake other reasonable duties as required for effective business operation.

Requirements:
  • Numerate, able to follow written instructions, and have reasonable literacy skills.

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing organisation preferred but not essential.
