Job Introduction
We’re looking for a Domestic Cleaner to join our Sodexo team at Haywood Hospital. In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health and wellbeing throughout the hospital. What you’ll do:
Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
