Summary

We are currently looking for a Claims Handler to join our professional indemnity team based out of our London office
The role will support the investigating and assessing of claims, working closely with policy holders, clients, brokers, legal professionals, third party administrators (“TPA’s”) and other stakeholders to ensure fair and timely resolution. Liaising closely with other insurers where Amtrust are either a follow line or lead insurers with a follow market and conducting thorough investigations into professional indemnity claims, including gathering relevant evidence, reviewing policy terms and conditions and setting strategy for resolution and reserves.
To be successful in this role you will need to have excellent communication skills – both written and verbal, good attention to detail, and great problem-solving skills. Thriving in a role where you’ll work both autonomously and collaboratively at times is key, this role will give you an opportunity to work cross functionally and give you exposure to all levels of the business and client facing. Previous claims experience is a must, however, whilst knowledge of the professional indemnity claims environment is preferable it is not essential, we’re keen to speak to any interested candidates from a variety of claims backgrounds.
