Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Day to day duties of the role
- To deliver high quality teaching and learning on a range of courses at different levels and contexts, both discrete, face to face and on-line.
- Proactively track and record student progress against starting points ensuring that accurate and reliable information on the predicted achievement and success of learners is readily available.
- To complete and use initial assessments of learners (BKSB/MathsWatch), to ensure that their learning needs are met.
Required skills and qualifications
- Ability to teach GCSE and Functional Skills maths entry Level - to level 2.
- Relevant successful teaching experience.
- All candidates for teaching posts must possess a recognised Teaching Qualification, or be prepared to gain this qualification within the first three years of service, with the assistance of the College.
