Who we’re looking for:
We are looking for an experienced colleague to join the team delivering excellent speech and language therapy (SLT) provision and student placements at the Marjon speech and language therapy clinic. The successful candidate will be an HCPC/RCSLT registered speech and language therapist who has successfully completed their NQP competencies.
This is a fixed term post to cover staff absence.
What you’d be doing:
The successful candidate will be an HCPC/RCSLT registered SLT with an adult and/or paediatric caseload. The post-holder will work with the SLT Clinic team to develop and deliver a high-quality clinical placement experience to SLT students at Marjon and excellent SLT provision for clinic clients.
The post-holder will help organise student placement activity to include teletherapy, simulated learning, and clinic-based and community-based appointments for a range of clients.
It is expected that the post holder will be an experienced practitioner who has remained up to date with the profession by engaging in continuing professional development and is currently or recently practising.

Where you’ll work:
In this role, you’ll be based in the SLT team, on our green campus in the north of Plymouth. You will be based in Marjon's new Health Hub which provides purpose-built clinic rooms and a high spec working space for faculty staff. This promotes interprofessional discussion and collaborative working.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be required to work on site and engage in service user visits (home or school).
