Summary

The following are the core responsibilities of the Finance & Data Administrator. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels: a. Support the Operational manager with routine financial administration b. Review all income and expenditure statements, identifying any inaccuracies and rectifying such issues, informing management as required c. Assisting with claims for ARRS funding, IIF payments and other appropriate funding streams. d. Ensure invoices are added to Xero within the given time frame e. Maintain an effective system for the handling of petty cash f. Reconciling payments and resolving financial discrepancies with practices and commissioners g. Input accurate financial records for audit and reporting purposes ensuring that processes are adhered to h. Ensure the presentation of monthly financial reports is of a high standard i. Assist in the preparation of budget reports and financial forecasts and costings for business cases and projects. j. Maintain an effective working relationship with the ICB, ensuring the organisation receives a proportionate and equitable allocation of resources k. Collate, manage and validate PCN performance data l. Support population health management initiatives through accurate data reporting and extraction m. Produce regular reporting reports, charts and summaries to support PCN governance meetings and quality improvement work n. Assist with the maintenance of the shared PCN database, trackers and spreadsheets o. Liaise with the clinical leads to collect data for service audits, evaluations and reporting cycles. In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Finance & Data Administrator may be requested to: a. Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related matters with NHSE, the ICB and the organisations accountant b. Partake in audit as requested by the audit lead c. Attend and actively participate in practice or PCN finance related meetings d. Attend any external meetings pertinent to the role of Finance & Data Administrator
