Summary
Undertake further training as required to meet statutory requirements and the needs of the job. Assist in the gritting and snow clearance around the site. Ensure grounds, gardens, roads and paths are kept clean and tidy. Assist in the collection of litter and emptying of cigarette trays in smoking shelters. To assist with the cleansing / washing down of external and internal spillages to site roads, pathways and entrances. Undertake other such duties as deemed necessary by the needs of the service provided by the department. Carry out routine building work e.g. slabbing and bricklaying. Prioritise and arrange day-to-day workload, unless given a direct instruction. Carry re knowledge and experience with other members of the Estates Team. Assist in the development of other staff and Trainees. Be aware of the Trusts Health and Safety Policy, understand and apply it to all work that is undertaken. Take reasonable care of their own health and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
