Summary


CPI has an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to provide high quality administrative support across our Sedgefield sites. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge innovation in advanced manufacturing while supporting teams that make a real impact.

As an Office Administrator, you’ll play a key role in enabling business objectives through excellent customer management and efficient administrative support. You’ll be the backbone of daily operations, ensuring smooth coordination across teams and facilities.

The Role

• Coordinating travel and accommodation (UK and international)
• Reception duties and switchboard management
• Hosting visitors and supporting site tours
• Organising meetings, room bookings, and refreshments
• Raising purchase orders and ensuring value for money
• Supporting meetings with note-taking and action tracking
• Coordinating administration for monthly housekeeping audits
• Coordinating inductions for new starters
• General office duties including stationery orders, scanning, and hot desk bookings
• Supporting compliance responsibilities in relation to ISO14001, legal obligation compliance

The Person

The successful candidate must be educated to NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent) / have equivalent experience and be;

• Experienced in providing admin support in a similar-sized organisation
• An advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, databases)
• A clear communicator with strong organisational skills
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivery


It would be great if you also:

• Hold an IT-related qualification
• Bring a proactive approach to decision-making and continuous improvement
• Have experience in using D365
• Have an awareness of the ISO14001 regulations
