Summary
Key Responsibilities
Support service users with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
Assist individuals with mobility, physical disabilities, and the use of aids or equipment.
Encourage and promote independence in daily living activities.
Provide companionship and emotional support, helping to enhance wellbeing and confidence.
Assist with light domestic tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
Observe and report any changes in a service user’s health or circumstances to the manager.
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans and organisational policies.
Safeguard service users from abuse and uphold confidentiality at all times.
