Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Litter Picker to help maintain clean and safe outdoor environments across public spaces, parks, streets, and event venues. This role plays a vital part in promoting community pride and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Patrol designated areas to collect litter, debris, and waste.
• Empty public bins and replace liners as needed.
• Report fly-tipping, vandalism, or hazardous waste to supervisors.
• Use manual tools such as litter pickers, bags, and brooms.
• Maintain cleanliness around entrances, pathways, and green spaces.
• Work independently or as part of a mobile cleaning team.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including PPE use.
Requirements
• Previous experience in outdoor cleaning or grounds maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Friendly and professional attitude when interacting with the public.
• Full UK driving licence may be required for mobile roles.
