Summary
Our client is seeking a Service Administrator to join their team on a 12-month contract. Paying up to 27k. The Service Administrator is responsible for providing efficient, professional, and comprehensive administrative support to the service department, engineers, and customers. The role involves coordinating the flow of service-related activities, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Duties for the Service Administrator will Include but not be limited to the following:
Schedule and coordinate visits for Engineers
Process and manage work orders, purchase orders, and sales orders related to service and parts.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing timely updates on service appointments, parts, and repairs.
Handle customer complaints diplomatically and strive to resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
Follow up with customers to obtain feedback.
Generate and process accurate invoices.
Process and track supplier invoices and purchase orders.
Generate regular reports on service activity claims, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management.
Archive departmental documentation in line with company procedures.
Order office supplies, parts, and tools as required for the service department.
Support other departmental staff as needed.
The ideal candidate for the Service Administrator will have the following:
Proven administrative experience, preferably within a manufacturing, technical, or similar service environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing or customer service role.
Experience using computerised systems for record-keeping, such as CRM or ERP systems.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and able to address issues effectively and efficiently.
